About Kristina

Before I became a counselor, I was a bank teller, loan processor, personal assistant for high profile families, and spent over 20 years a nanny-household manager in The Netherlands and in The States. In these roles, my main job was being an advocate for people. Not only did I learn how to listen well and support with empathy and curiosity, but I also discovered that being connected to others felt meaningful and healing.

In the absence of connection, disconnect can lead to pain, loneliness, and deep wounds. The more I have learned along my journey, the more curious I've become--curious about the nature of suffering, about relationships, about people and the spaces they inhabit.

I desire to give others a space to be heard, seen, cared for, and valued, leaving them with a sense of hope and healing. Maybe others in the past have told you what your life is about, but now you get to be the author of your story.

When I am not caring for my clients, I love being a mom, an avid runner, hiking when the rain is quiet, sipping black coffee in the stillness of morning, (slowly) tackling several piles of books, taking naps, and sharing space with friends and deep conversations.
